The hands are one of the most age-revealing parts of our body. With the years skin gets thinner and sun spots appear; the veins and bones are more visible.

Rejuvenation of the hands may imply a combination of the following:<

• Injection of fat taken from the patient, to thicken the softtissues of the hand.
• Removal of superficial veins.
• Exfoliation of the skin to remove sun spots.

This is an ambulatory procedure that may be done under local anaesthesia and intravenous sedation or under general anaesthesia, combined with other procedures.

Recovery takes approximately 1 week and is usually uneventful, except for mild to moderate local swelling.
